I have a Bachelor of science in Physics with a minor in math from Georgia Southern University where I graduated with honors. I graduated in May 2012 with a 3.9 GPA in the top 15% of my class. I also have a Master of Science in Mathematics from Georgia Southern University. I graduated in May 2014 with a 4.0 GPA

Experience

I have 5 years of tutoring experience in both physics and math as well as 2 years of experience teaching physics lab classes. I gathered this experienced working for the Physics department, Math department, and while doing private tutoring. I also scored a 1520 on the SAT and in the 90th percentile on the general GRE. I'm currently tutoring so that I can earn some money on the side, but am employed full time at Cummins Inc. Hobbies

I'm an avid reader and mainly enjoy science fiction and fantasy genres. My favorite series is the Foundation trilogy from Isaac Asimov. I also enjoy reading about new developments in science in technology and make sure to spend a few hours each week exploring new publish research. In addition, I'm a fan of newer board games such as Munchkin, Splendor, and Betrayal at house on the Hill. I find board games are an excellent way to exercise an analytical mind and keep it sharp.
